MEETING INFORMATION

What?

Meetings are our primary way to keep in touch with each other. It is a time, once a month, that we all come together and socialize in fellowship about the hobby. Stories are told and tips are shared. Jokes, fun and laughter are in the air. There is structure to a meeting. There are special speakers and programs that will inform you like you have never been informed before! There are raffle tickets sold to win silver & other antique coins, as well as a 50/50 cash raffle. There is a wealth of flyers available and registration forms for just about any treasure hunt happening on the east coast. There is a substantial library of books, magazines and videos related to the hobby, many of which can be signed out if you are a member. Perhaps the highlight of a meeting are the displays of "STUFF" that have been found and recovered by club members, and the contest that spurs from these finds can be quite competitive. For the "Finds of the Month" contest, there are cash prizes and points awarded (check out the 'finds of the month' section on this site to see what is being unearthed or brought to the surface from watery graves). At break time, grab a cup of coffee and a snack. It is a good time for family and friends alike. Visitors are most welcome whether you are a novice or seasoned pro.

When?

Meetings are held once a month on the first Tuesday evening of every month. The meeting starts at 7:00pm and is over at 9:00pm. Come early because the meeting starts promptly.
