Class Ring Finds Owner - August, 2004
Well, the class ring didn't find the owner, but Leon did. Leon has been metal detecting for many moons, and he has
found countless rings. Every time he finds a class ring, he makes an effort to return it to the owner. This is a nice ring that has some
value to it. However, it is the sentimental value to the owner that is the prize here. A true metal detectorist really gets a good feeling
when they help someone out and do a good deed to return lost property. See, with a little detective work, class rings can be linked to their owners.
Though, nowadays with privacy and confidential school records and rules it is getting harder to find these people. This time it was a success for Leon and
this young girl is happy to have this treasure returned. Almost always the owners that lose a ring figure they will never see it again, it is a huge surprise
when a metal detectorist finds what was forever lost.
